PLN 11
In the article from the Denver Post, "Gay Marriage backers rally in Denver" what matters is the legalization of gay marriage. There was a peaceful rally in Denver, in front of the Denver City and County building. This happened at about 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 15th. This connects to me because I don't think it is right to ban same-sex marriage, the Constitution says that we are all "created equal" so we all deserve the same rights, and that includes gays. The article says that Massachusetts and Connecticut are the only states that allow gay marriage and I think all the states should allow it. I believe that we should all be treated like we are equal, because we are. Certain rights shouldn't be taken away from certain people just because they are different, and because some people don't believe that a girl should be with a girl or a guy should be with a guy. This connects to the world because the world needs to except people for who they are, and not just judge them upon their sexual preference. What matters in the article "Gay Marriage backers rally in Denver" is legalizing gay marriage.

Olivia, you did a great job and i knew this issue mattered becuase you could tell you cared. you did a great job and i defianitly agree with you.
I have to disagree with you on this topic because if a gay and lesbian marry they can never have kids and if they do adopt a kid it would be really hard growing up with that.

Great job Olivia, I don't think that gay marriage is right, but I like how you said that it’s the other people’s choice, I agree with that, but to a certain extent. I do believe that marriage is between a man and a women, and should stay that way. Overall, you got the class involved, and you spoke loudly. Good job.

Olivia, your topic was a good topic to disguss about. I personally dont think people should be gay, probably just because its my religon. But its their choice so they should be able to do what they want.

I agree with you completely that gay marriage should be legal. I think that’s stupid that the government is trying to make it illegal. The people are going to do what they want whether you want it to happen or not. The law is just an obstacle that two people in love will overcome, it will just take longer. You had really good eye contact and I really like that you chose this topic to talk about. Good Job! :]]

To answer your question, I think that I Gay marages should not be allowed because, I think that guys were made to by guys, and girls were made to be girls, and they shouldn't try and be something that they are not.
